~CNY comes and goes~
this time last week, think i juz woke up, slowly getting ready to go to porpor's place... now i'm getting ready for tml meeting agn, haha... i tend to blog on the eve of meeting.... maybe need to let out some stress, that's why...
had a great time on the first 2 days of CNY though.. slept at 2 am on CNY's eve.. had dinner at home but went to uncle's place to meet up with relatives.. nice to see them agn.. once-a yr kinda thing coz we aren't really close.. maybe except for the cousins' gatherings sometimes... wun go if i'm too busy... sooo... first day was spent at porpor's place as usual.. usually stationed there for the whole day coz many relatives will be there... the source of ang pows.. haha.. no lah... it is a routine.. porpor's really a good cook... ate till very full... later at night, we went to xiaoyi's place, can't bear to part with my cute cousin kelda, who juz lost 2 front teeth, must be hoping they grow out soon and she can stop smiling with her mouth closed.. haha.. and that's second round of new yr goodies for me...
2nd day was more fun, everyone's coming to my place for lunch... same group of relatives as yesterday plus xiaojiu's family.. woke up early to help tidy the house, cooking's my mum's part.. haha... they always come quite late coz they will be visiting to other places first.. when all came, my house was very packed... all the little cousins in my rm.. looking all over our stuff.. the adults were outside at the living room chatting... after lunch, everyone proceeded to er-yi's place... to see lion dance in action... then had dinner there... this yr, there are 2 mahjong tables.. one for the adults playing with $$, the other for poor students like me.. haha..actually it's a smaller table for us cousins to play.. had great fun...went home really tired...worse still, got lessons on fri..ahhh.... dragged myself to go to sch.. better dun skip... first day of school for the chinese new yr...
