~Farewell is near~
fare·well:Used to express goodbye.

Less than a month to the final exams, starting to feel the end coming close.. esp after the MAE farewell lunch yesterday... long gone are those days at MLT, LT19a, LT2.... soon, LT13,LT1...
that day at lec in LT1, my mind sort of drifted away... to the time when uni juz started... The year is 2001..gathered at MLT, saw many unfamiliar people ard, waiting for frens to join me... excitedly gg for the first lec, everyone was juz as excited... class for yr 1 was kinda fixed, saw the same pple everyday, at lab, at tutorials, at lectures, at computing lab, at graphics lab.... yr 1 and yr 2 are the fun years... time were spent in the south spine.. not much stress.. not much projects... came to sch and go back home... miss those days... got long break always go jordan's and jingyun's room at hall 11... these days are gone forever, only memories stay.... nice memories..
Back to 2005, 21 March, MAE farewell buffet lunch, food ain't that great, but great to see many final yr students ard, waiting for the buffet lunch.. the food ain't really great, the atmosphere ain't that great too... but it does signify that farewell is near.. learnt one very meaningful quote which the vice-dean showed us

Today, 22 March, had another buffet lunch with the professors, PHD students, FYP mates.... sat in Prof Chua's car and he drove us to Penang Place at Jurong East... met up with the other group from Prof Leong's car.... in total there are 13 of us... first time lunching with all of them... a bit awkward but slowly got used to it.... on this super long table, all the fyp pple sat one side, phd students the other... both profs between us.. haha... also good lah... even though we fyp students noe one another, this is the first time we sat down to eat together.. most prob it's the one and only chance.. the food fare there is mainly hot stuff.. got hokkien prawn noodles, assam laksa, nasi lemak, ice kacang, rojak, many desserts... eat till very full.. stomach big big.. the patrons there are mainly working class people from nearby companies n some foreigners, occasionally.. profs bringing their students... haha... guess it marks the near end of FYP for us... time flies.. think i'll get my first draft back by this week... long weekend will be gone...
The big farewell shld be the convocation ceremony... must work hard, so i can attend it with all the others... really looking forward to that...
now gotta study for tml's quiz...must jiayou jiayou!!
