~Interests~
was chatting with this fren that night..talking abt cash problems.. he told me he juz bought this Starwars lightsabre for $200 bucks!!! the blue one from
master replicas , then he started talking abt the other die-cast replicas he's gg to buy... as he talked, i understand why he's so into all these collectibles, all for the sake of interest, he did enough research before deciding that he's gg to spend so much money.. they are gg to be limited editions soon.. haha.. he sounded like a little boy, who's juz bought a new toy, playing with it and so proud to share its functions with you.. haha.. and his parents din noe he bought it.. and how he had to hide it under his bed.. he also makes me even more gian to watch episode 3, but the vcd's not out yet, so i guess i juz have to wait..
then i told him sth lame, when i watched
the island, the last scene..where u see all the clones.. i thot of the attack of the clones.. wahaha.. but he's more lame... he said: then lincoln six echo drew out his lightsabre, and he zap here and zap there.... i was like: wah... he's more lame than me... wahaha...funny siah...
actually i envy his deep interest in all these stuff, willingness to spend for the sake of his interest, to many, it maybe pointless, waste of money, but to him, he doesn't care abt what pple think, it's for himself anyway... better be crazy than regret later in life...
hmmm... when was the last time i'm willing to spent for my interest?.. think i spent the most during my WESTLIFE-IS-GREAT days... haha.. yah... those days when i was so into them, i went to their promotional programmes in s'pore, even took leave to watch their friendly football match with the perfect ten DJs, also went to their concert, screamed like siao, i bought all their CDs then.. always waiting for the next one to come out.. yea yea... that crazy.. but i nvr regretted it though... now, occasionally i'll take out their CDs to listen.. i still love their songs..
i loved to play arcade games too... and i would spend like no one's business to go and play.. rem that time i was working at IRAS, if got time after work, would go to arcades to play those shooting games.. my all-time favorite is HOUSE OF THE DEAD.. wahaha.. shiok man.. shoot all the zombies!!! wahaha... ok..
so do you have any interest that u are willing to spend a great deal of money on or even if it doesn't cost much and u are proud of it? if yes, gd for you!
