~Why must it be so complicated?~
read Howard's End, a column in the New Paper dated 19th Feb, the topic: Why must it be so complicated?.. he lamented on sth that most guys would certainly agree on, which is why do women feel they need to be wooed...
A summary of the column:
Boy meets gal, they hang out as casual frens, very much attracted to each other and spending lots of quality time together, enjoying each other's company... but but.. prior to more intimacy, the gal juz got mad and thot: wait! u didn't even woo me.. This situation happened to him a couple of times.. it's a pity that things didn't worked out bec of this..
He thot he will incur the wrath of many women, haha.. nah... at least 2 readers enjoyed his article like me, coz it's kinda true..
i share his sentiments too but like those who wrote back in response, probably we gals juz need a sense of security that we are sure of what the guys are really thinking.. bec gals think too much.. sorry for that, but it's in our genes.. For me, i'm afraid that it's juz a one-sided thing on my part, dun really ask for much, juz a simple gesture... dun believe in a relationship built on only flowers and gifts.. i prefer more fun and quality time together.. haha..
To me, i think the most perfect way for a couple to get together will be the scenario that he described, minus the gal thinking too much.. it's not easy to find someone who can be mutually attracted to you, as much as you are to him/her at the same time and both of you juz know it... like some romantic movie ya.. haha... of coz what i mean here is attraction that is emotional and probably physical, but not so much sexually in such a short time frame..
Love can juz as simple as ABC, it's all that's in the mind which makes it so complicated...
